AQUASPORT INTERNATIONAL is based in Newquay, Cornwall UK.

We began business in 2009 and have been servicing the Lifesaving, Surfing and Lifeguard industries throughout Europe ever since.

Our success is built on customer service and we specialise in high quality, high performance labels.

Australian founder, Scott Wood (Woody) has been a member of surf lifesaving since the age of five (Manly LSC, NSW, Australia) and has competed and raced around the world for the past 35 years.

In surf lifesaving, Woody has been part of Sydney & NSW championship teams in single ski relay competition and was a member of the Southport SLSC (Qld) Taplin Relay team that won Gold Coast, Queensland and Australian Taplin relay championships in the 1980s. He was also a member of the Southport team that won the World Interclub surf lifesaving championship in Hawaii.

Following a genuine love for endurance sports, Woody has competed in:

Four Coolangatta Golds; 

fifteen Ironman triathlons, including four Hawaii Ironmans and has an Ironman PB of 8:47; 

completed twenty-five marathons and ten ultra-marathons including: 

70 mile Ultra-Race of the Templars trail run in south-east France; 

40 mile UK trail running championship; 

44 mile Land’s End ultra in Cornwall.

 

Woody moved to the UK in 2009 and has coached GBR Lifesaving teams at three world championships (Adelaide 2012, France 2014, Netherlands 2016) and also three youth / senior European championships (Italy, Wales, Spain, Netherlands) and has continued racing, winning multiple GBR masters championships in board, ski and Ironman competition.
